Lionel Messi Directly Has 2 New Nickname After Fighting Liverpool
Barcelona's superstar, Lionel Messi, got two new nicknames after the game against Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal.
Lionel Messi managed to score two goals in the match against Liverpool which was won by Barcelona 3-0.
Thanks to his appearance, Messi got a new nickname from two legendary coaches, Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho.
"Everyone has often seen this phenomenon. Mr. Messi came and said that he would finish the job," Wenger said as quoted by BolaSport.com from Metro.
Not losing to Wenger who came out with the nickname Mr. Messi, Mourinho also has a new designation for the Barcelona superstar.
"Messi is a god in football. Liverpool took a bold step but the god of football made a difference in the end," Mourinho said.
This season, Messi indeed seemed to avenge his previous failures.
Messi's achievements throughout the past season were not too flashy.
Despite being able to win the Spanish League and Copa del Rey, Messi is still less famous than Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric.
This made him only fifth in the Ballon d'Or award last year.
Now Messi shows a maximum appearance with the opportunity to bring Barcelona to reach the treble winners.
